A Fun and Easy Halloween Party Food Idea
These Mummy Rice Krispies Treats check all the boxes. They couldn’t be easier to make, they’re kid-friendly and they’re so tasty! I don’t know about you, but the combination of white chocolate and marshmallows in the Rice Krispies Treats is one of my favorites. Sweet and classic!
How to make Mummy Rice Krispie Treats
So to make these, I started with store-bought rice krispie treats and unwrapped them. You could totally make your own, but I kept it nice and simple.
From there, you’ll melt your white chocolate candy coating and dip each Rice Krispies treat into it so that it covers the front of the treat and the majority of the sides. Shake off any excess white chocolate, then set the treat on parchment paper with the non-covered side down. Press a couple mummy eyes into the top portion of the treat so that it sticks to the white chocolate.
If you want to put them on sticks, like some of the ones shown in the photos, just push the stick into the rice krispie treat prior to dipping it into the white chocolate.
Allow the white chocolate to dry before moving to the next step. If you go ahead and start drizzling white chocolate onto it without it drying, they will kind of blend into each other and you won’t get that clear separation for the mummy wrap.
To add the piping/drizzle, I used a piping bag and icing tip, but you could also just put the white chocolate into a ziplock bag, cut the corner and do it that way. Whatever you have on hand works just fine.
Pipe or drizzle the white chocolate over the Rice Krispies Treats, leaving the eyes visible, and allow them to dry. Then they are ready to go! Super simple!
These Mummy Rice Krispies Treats make a wonderfully easy treat and they are sure to be a hit! They’re easy to wrap up as a gift, take to school or a party, and share. I hope you enjoy them!

Description
These Mummy Rice Krispie Treats make a fun Halloween party food! Made with only three ingredients, they’re easy to make, taste great and are ready in a flash.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 12 oz white chocolate candy coating
- 12 rice krispie treat bars, unwrapped
- 24 candy eyes
Additional Tools
- Parchment paper
- Paper straws or lollipop sticks, optional
- Piping bag
- Wilton 101 piping tip
- Coupler
Instructions
- Add the white chocolate candy coating to a microwave safe bowl and heat according to package instructions, or in 30 second increments, stirring well between each, until melted and smooth.
- Lay out a large piece of parchment paper. If you’d like to have your treats on sticks, you can cut paper straws in half (as I did) or use lollipop sticks. Dip the tip of it into the white chocolate, then press it into the bottom short side of the treat. Allow to dry.
- Dip each rice krispie treat (one at a time) into the white chocolate, allowing it to coat the side you’re dipping and the sides. Shake off any excess and place the uncovered side down onto the parchment paper. Place a set of eyes on each rice krispie treat, while the chocolate is still wet. Allow to dry completely.
- Re-melt the remaining white chocolate candy coating, then pour it into your piping bag fitted with a piping tip. If you don’t have a piping bag, use a Ziplock bag to make your own by snipping off a tiny corner to press the chocolate through.
- Drizzle the white chocolate over the treats to create the mummy look, then set aside to cool completely.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for about a week.

To make less waste and so it’s completely edible, you could use Pocky sticks instead of Popsicle sticks.
Pocky is an Asian biscuit stick, dipped in a variety of things. My fav is the classic chocolate or chocolate with almond. Crunchy and super addictive.
Thats a cool idea!!!
I am so ready for Halloween! I can’t wait and these mummy rice krispie treats will be perfect for our party! Thanks for the adorable idea.
