Made with just 4 ingredients, this Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge is sweet, creamy, and loaded with Reese’s in every bite. It’s also quick and easy to prepare in the microwave!

Why You’ll Love This Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge

This Reese’s peanut butter fudge is a variation of my 3 ingredient peanut butter fudge recipe. It’s just as quick and easy to make, with the same great texture – this version is just made with peanut butter and has chopped Reese’s in every bite!

  • Only 4 ingredients. This fudge recipe is made with white chocolate, peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and Reese’s. That’s it!
  • Made in the microwave. There’s no finicky stovetop method required for this Reese’s peanut butter cup fudge. In fact, the only “cooking” required is just 1-2 minutes of microwaving.
  • LOTS of peanut butter flavor. The base of the fudge is peanut butter and then chopped Reese’s are added in, ensuring lots of peanut butter flavor with just a hint of chocolate. Yum!
  • Stores well. One of the best things about making fudge is that it stores REALLY well. This will last for weeks in the fridge and months in the freezer, so you can easily prep several batches to gift or have on hand for the holiday season.

What You’ll Need

Here are the 4 ingredients you’ll need to make this irresistible fudge. Scroll down to the recipe card below for measurements.

  • White chocolate chips – White chocolate provides a smooth, creamy base to this fudge without overpowering the peanut butter flavor. You can use white chocolate chips or a chopped up white chocolate baking bar.
  • Creamy peanut butter – I typically use Jif peanut butter for recipes like this fudge. Other brands will work, the important thing is simply to NOT use an all-natural peanut butter. The oil separates from the peanut butter which will affect the consistency.
  • Sweetened condensed milk – Sweetens the fudge and helps achieve the perfect texture. Do not substitute evaporated milk here as they are not the same.
  • Chopped Reese’s – I used regular Reese’s, though mini Reese’s would work (you’d just have more chocolate and less peanut butter).

Let’s Get Started

This Reese’s peanut butter fudge is made in the microwave, which means it’s quick, easy, and fool-proof! Here’s a run-down of how to do it. You can find the printable version of the instructions in the recipe card below.

  • Prep. Line a 9×9 square pan with parchment paper, being sure to cover the sides of the pan.
  • Melt. Add the white chocolate chips and peanut butter to a large bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until combined and smooth. (This should take about 1-2 minutes.)
  • Add the other ingredients. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, until no streaks remain. Immediately stir in the chopped Reese’s.
  • Refrigerate. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press some additional chopped Reese’s into the top, if you’d like. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, until firm.
  • Cut and store. Once set, remove the fudge from the pan and cut into squares. Store in an airtight container.

Tips For The Best Fudge

  • Avoid all-natural peanut butter. This is one recipe where you really want to use a processed peanut butter such as Jiffy. All-natural peanut butter tends to separate, which will affect the consistency of the fudge, and also has a graininess which affects the texture of the fudge.
  • Melt only until smooth. You should only need to microwave the white chocolate and peanut butter for 1-2 minutes. Just be sure to stir vigorously between each interval to further melt everything between heating it. Overheating the mixture can result in thick, lumpy fudge.
  • Work quickly. Have all of your ingredients prepped and handy so that when the mixture is melted, you can add the sweetened condensed milk and Reese’s immediately. You don’t want to give it a chance to cool before you pour it into the pan.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper. This is key to being able to easily remove the fudge from the pan. If you leave overhang on at least two sides of the pan, you’ll be able to lift it out even easier for cutting.

Proper Storage

  • Room temperature. Reese’s peanut butter fudge can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. It will stay soft if stored this way.
  • Fridge. You can also store the fudge in the fridge for up to 5 weeks. It will be firmer than if stored at room temperature but you can always let it come to room temperature before enjoying.
  • Freezer. To make your fudge last even longer, you can freeze it in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before enjoying. I recommend adding parchment paper between layers to prevent the pieces from sticking together.

Description

Made with just 4 ingredients, this Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge is sweet, smooth, and loaded with Reese’s in every bite. Quick and easy to prepare in the microwave!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (339g | 12oz) white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (280g) creamy peanut butter*
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Reese’s

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×9 square pan with parchment paper that covers the sides of the pan.
  2. Place the white chocolate chips and peanut butter in a large bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until well combined and smooth. It should only take a minute or two.
  3. Gently stir in the sweetened condensed milk until no more streaks remain. It will thicken quite a bit. Immediately stir in the chopped Reese’s until evenly distributed.
  4. Quickly transfer the mixture to the lined pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate the fudge until firm, 2-3 hours.
  5. Cut the fudge and store in an air tight container. Fudge can be stored at either room temperature or the fridge. It will be softer at room temperature.

Notes

  • Peanut Butter: Do not use an all-natural peanut butter. The oil separates from the peanut butter, making it difficult to get the right consistency.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk: Do not substitute evaporated milk here as they are not the same.
  • Storage: Reese’s peanut butter fudge can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. It will stay soft if stored this way. You can also store the fudge in the fridge for up to 5 weeks. It will be firmer than if stored at room temperature but you can always let it come to room temperature before enjoying.
  • Freezing: To make your fudge last even longer, you can freeze it in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before enjoying. I recommend adding parchment paper between layers to prevent the pieces from sticking together.
